Stylenanda Haul

Just received my order from Stylenanda today, and thought I'd do a review on the items I got.

As, some of you may know, Stylenanda is like the Korean fashion craze right now, celebrities wear it and everyone is Stylenanda crazy~~

I was looking for jeans and overalls, since the ones in Australia are:
1. Too overpriced  $$$
2. Don't fit me (or they fit in the wrong places)
3. People will know where you got as specific item from

The parcel came quite fast, ordered on the 21/9/13, got them 30/9/13 (took them a few days to collate the items and ship it out via EMS)

nicely packed

Since Asian sizes and clothes fit me like a glove coz im asian duh I knew to some extent that Stylenanda's fit would be perfect for me, so I ordered these few items:

Denim overalls (link)

Size: good, since it's a baggy fit
Price: $47.12USD cheap compared to the ones here which are $69.95+
Quality: Good

8/10

Slim waist jeans (high waisted) (link)

Size: Ah-may-zing, on the stretchy denim/jegging side (size 26)
Price: $39.41 USD on the cheap side for jeans
Quality: Seams are the best, especially the overlocking

9/10

Cream eyeliner (pink) (link)

Colour: Superb! love it! Great for when you wanna add a pop of colour to you eyes
Quality: Has a self sharpening end and only rubs off a bit once applied

10/10

Colour point watch (blue) (link)

Design: really cool with the elongated strap
Quality: great silicon but I wish the watch face was a bit bigger

 9/10

Their shipping price is quite cheap considering how much the Australian shipping price is, and hey, you are getting your items shipped via EMS here with tracking :)

I noticed that my overalls and jeans weren't 'Stylenanda' branded but some other brand, but then again who cares when they fit well LOL

If you spend:
- $0-$100 = $20 shipping
- $101- $200 = $10 shipping
- $201+ = free shipping

I spent just over $100 so I only had to pay $10 for shipping (Y)

They also gave me a little 'thank you gift' which was a shimmery dusty pink nail polish :)

Overall, shopping at Stylenanda was a great experience, I want to put another order in now haha!

Ciao,
Lissy

Dogs à la knit

Thanks to mum I now have a new favourite knit jumper, a vintage one to be exact.

Flats (not shown) - MJ

Just another outfit for uni, and yes I got many compliments for my jumper :))

Marc it.

Finally found a pair of sunglasses that suit my face shape and can sit nicely on my flat asian nose haha, but winter is slowly approaching so I don't have that much time to wear them around, other than a few random sunny days.

At first I was suggested by the sunglasses assistant to try on some Rayban's because many people like them, but I somehow I wasn't a big fan of them, maybe because I don't really like the top of sunglasses being a straight line? who knows.

Anyways, I'm overwhelmed to own my first pair of branded Marc Jacobs sunnies, along with the free Marc Jacobs gift set, can't wait to rock these when it's sunny again :)

'my mouth was on fire'

Finally went to the city yesterday and caught up with Megu, and for some odd reason time passed really slowly.
Our first stop was Pepper Lunch, they opened their first store in Melbourne just a few weeks ago and already there's the Pepper Lunch rave going on instagram and related sites.  I ordered their beef one, which came on a sizzling hot plate with half cooked meat which you have to cook yourself by stirring it around until it's all cooked.
But beware my friends, there's quite a lot of pepper, it made me eat heaps faster since it's so hot; my mouth was on fire literally since I'm not too good with spicy foods (apart from kimchi which I can handle in moderate amounts)

And we had some yummy strawberry shaved ice to cool down that peppery hotness, from Dessert Story
camwhore with food yo
Found my new favourite purikura machine at Photoplus, since Photoworld suddenly disappeared...This machine is exactly like the ones in Japan :3  Also won a free gift after playing a matching game at the end

Also picked up one of my favourite magazines (Popteen) and found another shop selling Popsister which has now been discontinued *cries* for only $7.  Hope they continue the Popsister series again sometime

My favourite pages out of the two magazines

And my ootd (need to clean my mirror ;w;)
Shirt: Zara
Shorts: Free Fusion (Target)
Flats: Wittner (not shown)
Bag: Perfume Inn

cat & cat

Started today off with an a.w.e.s.o.m.e parcel, the Ahcahcum Muchacha (あちゃちゅむ←→ムチャチャ) Spring & Summer mook I've been waiting ages for; the first time I saw it was in fashion magazines and online a few months ago, but I never had the time to hunt it down online due to my end of year exams.
But now the wait is over, as I have the mook and the two bags in my hot little hands (literally since today's 36 degrees *sweaty*)
I've never been a real fan of cats or kittens because most of them shed fur and whatnot, but with this whole cat pattern craze going around I began to like these feline animals more.  I really like how the bags from this mook look really realist (apart from having no fur, and being a flat object I am quite certain that I can freak a few people out with this cat-head bag/s)

can't get enought of the grumpy kitty bag :3
A few of my favourite pages from the mook
cats will always love their fish ( I love the fishy socks)
Even Alice in Wonderland designs!!

Must say that this is the best mook I'll ever own (so far).
Since this post has something to do with animals, I made a new friend today with this little birdy that came to visit me :)  Shall give this feathery friend a name once I decide on it, that's if she/he/it decides to visit me again......

Bye guys, stay safe!

Boxing Day gets

Note to self:  Do not go to Chadstone next year for boxing day sales due to the following reasons:
  1. Finding a parking spot is (nearly) impossible
  2. There's way too many people, 真的是'人山人海'
  3. If your size is a popular amongst others, you'll either be left with stock thats not something you like or one with a defect or even something that's a few sizes too big for you
  4. The things you want are sold out, so you will be disappointed
So next year (if I go) I'll be going to the city for boxing day sales, goodbye busy Chadstone ~

Anyways the fussy me did manage to get something from the sales.
Found this beautiful bring floral shirt from Zara which was reduced to only $49.95!  And got a pair of white Sony headphones which were only $27 from the original $40 at JB Hifi, I was planning to get these Urban Ears ones from Myer for $80 but I didn't think it was worth it
when worn

Glad I survived this mess of eager customers

Only 4 days until we say hello to 2013, bye~

Japan: Day 9 - Tokyo (Shibuya) *pic heavy*

Finally arrived in Tokyo, the prefecture with the best shopping places ever! Ahh I just wanna go back there, okay a bit off track.. but after we arrived in Tokyo after our night bus ride (at around 6-7am) even though I was still half asleep and the cold weather made me even sleepier, the thought that I was in shopping-paradise woke me up instantly.  After checking into our hotel, mum and I took the train to Shibuya from Shinjuku and started our first day of shopping in Tokyo.

Hachi decorated for new years
First stop, le famous Mr Hachi/Hachiko (statue) which is right in front of Shibuya station!  Such a loyal beautiful akita-inu, you can read more about how he became a famous doggy from being tremendously loyal to his owner (even many years after his owner's death too) here.  There was even a movie made about Hachi called 'A Dog's Tale' if any of you are interested.
Shibuya 109!
The building of all building for girls, the countless hours I spent inside this wonderful 9 storey building filled with your popular gyaru brands each with their brands individual style.  They also have building for guys called 109-mens where all the fashionable guys go which is a street or so away.

waiting for 109 to open
Sadly no pictures are allowed inside here like many other stores, and I didn't want to be sneaky or get told off with some Japanese phrase which I won't be able to understand, so no pictures of the wonderful stores inside, sorry.

A sneaky picture of Double C / WC/ Wakatsuki Chinatsu, a better picture will come but mr policeman didn't look too happy when I took this picture :S

The famous Shibuya scramble

By noon they had changed the poster on Shibuya 109 from after school advertising 109's one week bargain to Dollywink with Tsu-chan and her new false eyelashes

Discovered my love for ramen in Japan, no idea what makes them so delicious, maybe the miso soup accompanied with the ramen or the ume/pickle or the mini side dishes that came with ramens (mostly ramen sets) but I'm pretty sure I increased my eating speed from the tortoise speed which I usually am.  Oh ramen please appear in front of my eyes now *grumbles*

Now onto my haul for the day:
WC gets, kuma-tan you so cute ^^

everything was 50% of (I think) at the Tralala store which also sold Liz Lisa Doll
These Liz Lisa items were an impulse buy because they were having some discount campaign, so if I can remember each piece was reduced to around 4500yen.
Even though I'm no longer really into the girly style, mum persuaded me to, still haven't worn the dress or jumper out, but the jacket it now one of my to-go casual jackets since it's so soft and warm along with 'Liz Lisa' printed on the back.

I'll finish off with a night shot of Shinjuku where we stayed

じゃまた~

Procrastination + popteen

Why am I blogging when I should be studying for my end of year exams?  Procrastination is the answer.  Thanks to many parties and shopping trips, I am able to procrastinate to the highest level - Procrastinating Queen.  This will just be a random post on outfits, and new gets.

Just half of the practice exams I should be working on....sorry to all those trees who died for me (☉д⊙)

Wore this one to Laura's 18th
dress: Dress Monster
oxford heels: Wittner
earrings: Mimco

shirt: Emoda
jumper: Ingni
Jeans: Uniqlo
oxfords: Urban Soul

Bought the latest popteen with Rola on the cover for their 32nd year anniversary, oh she's beautiful~ and Cutie with Kana Nishino on the cover, her songs are amazing, this issue also came with a sample of the highly complemented 24h Cosme powder which is supposed to last for 24 hours! :))

Below are some of my favourite pages from Popteen and Cutie:
All the popteen models
latest looks from Shibuya 109 brands, I love the One Spo cat dress ^^
Time to find those feline looking clothes, the cats are in the house meow

Also bought this pleated dress from Dotti during their sale for only $29.95 from the original $69.95.  It's a tad big on me since they ran out of size 6 but I altered it a bit and now it fits me quite well (*⁰▿⁰*)

Going back to studying, bye! Oh and this will probably be the last post for now as I'll be going on a hiatus.  I'll be back soon!

I've been playing Ailee's new song for multiple times now, love her voice~
