Shortlisted for fashion design at RMIT ohemgee what is this?!??!
Thought none of the senior staff would've like my crazy designs, but looks like I was wrong, they like the designs that I drew when I was probably still half asleep when my design exercise/test was 8.30am, which lasted for 2 hours.

GAHHH still can't believe this! Must get my folio ready which is currently just bits and pieces of random fashion sketches and one of my Visual Communication folios that is fashion related, but it happens to be a gumboot/galosh, guess you can always be fashionable in rainy weather right?

A bit hyped up and jumpy now, so if you feel a slight earthquake it's probably me partying away in my room by myself, so please excuse me *.。(๑･∀･๑)*.。

The Power of Makeup

世上没有丑女人, 只有惰女人

Just as quote from one of  the greatest makeup transformation guru in China.  From a monolider she is able to transform into a beautiful girl with double eyelids and bigger eyes.  

I'm not being bias about monolids here as I have monolids myself, and yes I have tried double eyelid tapes and glues to try and become someone with double eyelids but I found that my eyes started to sag a little due to the tape/glue that stuck my eyelids together and stretched them, so I have now accepted and learnt to embrance my Asian monolid-ness (◞ꈍ∇ꈍ)
It's always good to look different from what most Asians aim to look like (the big googly dolly eyes), so show off your uniquenes!

All thanks to makeup us girls are able to transform into princesses from ugly ducklings, even with a dab of foundation or a swipe of mascara we can enrich our features and increase our self-esteem levels.  都是化装品和技术让我们成为漂亮的小公主咯~

Tricked about 20 people on Facebook with 'my' new brown hair.  I wouldn't dare dye my hair as mum would have to lecture me for hours about the dangers of dying your hair due to all the chemicals inside and blah blah blah so yes, I will be a blackhead for life (pun intended).  Now I look like some ulzzang or maybe even one of the Korean singers that I'm told I look like, thanks to my korean-looking eyes haha

Japan: Day 7 - Kobe + okonomiyaki + Chinatown *pic heavy*

Sorry for deglecting my Japan trip posts for sometime now ;w;
On my 7th day in Japan Emma took us to Kobe which is Japan's fifth largest city situated in the Kansai prefecture, left of Osaka.  Kobe has a very large shopping district with famous departments stores such as Sogo and Marui that have multiple levels, there's also a very large Chinatown near the heart of Kobe.

Since it was nearly noon when we arrived and we were slightly hungry from standing all the way on the train from Kyoto as all the seats were taken.  So we had okonomiyaki at a popular chain store in Japan - Fugetsu, here's a video :)


Afterwards, Emma and I took purikura (photo stickers) as a purikura place nearby that had more than 10 machines and they were only 400yen each which is around $5-6!!!! Here in Australia it's like $15 for one, crazy, even used an $18 machine here once at Photoworld (which sadly closed down) but the results were amazing!

We were also handed out these promotional items for third year students regarding their holiday trips once they finish, similar to schoolies here in Australia, but more travel orientated.  Found these bags amazing as you can turn them into folders as indicated by the 'open' arrow, so smart and ecofriendly?

On the way back to the Kobe station, I saw this beautiful Mediterranean-style building that had the old worn out look, and contrasted very well with the surrounding modern buildings

First Youtube Video + Bedroom Tour

Hey guys, just made my first Youtube video the other day!  Must say that making my first successful video took quite some time and over 15 shots at it, as I either stuttered, forgot what I was saying or just had a mental blank.  So for those famous Youtubers who can talk right at the camera without making many mistakes or bloopers, you guy are a.m.a.z.i.n.g. seriously.

As my first Youtube video, I thought that doing a tour of my room would be a good idea as there's less talking and more showing and it would be easier for a newbie like me (*⁰▿⁰*)

Muck Up Day no.1

The first muck up day started off with...just a random packet of M&Ms mmm yummy, but it wasn't your usual packet of M&Ms.  They were a packet family of happy M&Ms who had been friends for quite a few years and know each other just like they had been friends for years ٩꒰๑❛▿❛ ॢ̩꒱

We felt like such celebrities? on the second last day as people would constantly ask us for photos, even overheard a little year 7 kid saying "omg, are they M&Ms?" Yes we were, and we brought every chocolate lovers childhood back :)

On a side note, we were meant to go as Crayola crayons however US postal services *cough* unreliable snail-speed service *cough* should really update their service speed, as our crayon costumes which we ordered from America were meant to arrive in Australia within 5 days since we chose the 'express' international shipping option.  Instead, they arrive after 10 days on the day of our muckup day afsdkhaslk, well after their quoted delivery date (ﾉಠ益ಠ)ﾉ彡┻━┻
So we had to come up with a cheap, quick and easy idea for costumes, and came up with M&M's which are really just round circles of felt stuck together (leaving a few gaps for the arms and body) and the letter 'm' sewn on both the back and front and voila, you have your M&M costume!  Thanks to Kirsten, Maddie and Shirley who made these costumes at the very last minute.

Since we're girls, we love dressing up so the whole year level came as different things or people - footballers, sailors, superheroes, Where's Wally's, teletubbies, jungle girls, just to name a few and of course M&Ms  (｡╹ω╹｡)

Goodbye 13 years of schooling

FINISHED ALL MY EXAMS ON FRIDAY WHICH MEANS I HAVE NO MORE SCHOOL!!! (for another 3 months that is, until university starts) so no more hiatus!
Calculated that I've spent around 13 years of my 18 years living at school, which is more than 3/4 of what I've currently lived (|||O⌓O;) what.

Finishing high school and going to university sounds like a really a scary thing, as I'm entering the 'big, dangerous, unprotected world' and I'll never know what events I may encounter because they will stay enclosed in a mysterious bottle until I open it and find out what obscure items were concealed within.
I realise that I am no longer a school girl, I will never be able to go back to school in the same school dress and be surrounded by the same people who you grew up with since your year 7 days, or sit together under our usual spot every recess and lunch, chat about things only 'your group' understood, or go to school in a carefree girly environment where no one cared if your dress was too short (except for some teachers), if you went to school with or without makeup, started complaining about your 'time of month', or started doing anything that would be labelled as strange if they happened in a mixed gender school, why? because it's a girls' school thing.
I will miss my girls so much, I know that we'll be catching up wih each other every now and then, but it'll be different, as we are no longer together because we would've moved towards our own directions.  Sound like I'm talking about a breakup here haha

Goodbye high school girl~ I'll be back as a university girl in a few months time.  Since I'm back from my hiatus, posts about my valedictory dinner and muck up days will be up soon :)

Pre-Muck Up Days

Hey guys, I'm not officially back from my hiatus, but I have a week's break before my next exam so I thought it would be good to update with a post during this time.

For those of you who don't know, 'Muck Up' day or week is when year 12 students who are in their final year of high school set up pranks and other activities on their week or days of school.  Our school only allowed us to have two days of muck up day so the number of things we could do to our school was limited, however we had a free dress day the school day before our official muck up day started so it was a chance to get a few things started :)

Just a few rules I made up for muck up day/s:
Rule number one: do not start all the activities all at once, start from minuscule things and increase in size and effectiveness.

'Take what you need' passes that were distributed around the school, because I go to a girls school, the above 'passes' are appropriate eg. cramps sports pass, longer skirt/dress pass, cake-face removal.  There was also a 'one direction immunisation' which is thought was pretty funny

Second rule: do not damage school property but make it annoying for others

Make it difficult for those who annoy you, such as those year 9's and 10's who hog the bathroom mirrors everyday after school for a good 30 minutes to reapply their orange cake-faces with more orange-ness, before meeting up with da bois from neighbouring schools...

Rule three:  Make a big impact without doing much

Trapped those year 9's so it made it impossible for them to get to their lockers at the end of lunch, on both side of the building too!  Just sat and chilled whilst we watched the faces of those middle school kids go  \( ･д･)/ mwahaha.  Also increased the effectiveness of the prank by completing a marathon around the school with around 120 other year 12 girls by screaming and running which freaked a lot of girls out *score*

Rule four:  Suprise teachers, this step may include ambushing the staff room..

On two seperate days we ambushed the staff room (by informing the co-ordinator first so we wouldn't get into trouble) and gave out detentions to teachers, made ourselves at home with a nice coffee, and stole quite a lot icypoles from their fridge (❛▿❛)

However, suprising teachers may end up with consequences...like being paid back the following day

Rule five:  Time for payback, or you could always give them a nicely wrapped present :)

Someone wrapped up the vice principle's car (I think) in glad wrap, always good to have some extra protection whilst on the road :)

Rule seven:  Just have fun! (but don't injure anyone)
Our school decided to join up with the guys from Camberwell with a water fight after school with water guns and water balloons, however some girls chickened out at the last minute once they heard that there would be 80 or so guys... so only around 50 of us had to tackle them, impossible.  Being immature badasses they didn't just chuck water balloons but also sausages, tomatoes, apples, and hard-boiled eggs. who said it was a food fight?!?  Oh, and I was hit in the jaw with an unbreakable raw tomato, whilst my friend was hit in the chest with an apple ugh those bastards (ㆆ﹏ㆆ)
So we did end up losing the water fight, what can I say of course they would've won, but it was still really fun as one of the last days of school ʕ•͡ω•ʔ

That's it for now, should be studying for my business management and geography exams which are next week, and then high school would be officially over!! Wait for the next few posts which will be about muck up days and my valedictory dinner, up after my exams that is :)) toodles~
