At peace

Currently in Taiwan now, and I'm loving every bit of Taiwan (including the rubbish trucks that play music whilst doing their job).
Here's a picture of a place I went to today, absolutely a breath taking view.

Typing in our hotel with unlimited data usage thanks to chunghwa telecom haha, bye ~

Flying off

I'll be flying off from Australia in a few hours time for a short holiday to Singapore and Taiwan, so excited!!  I've never been to Singapore (hope I don't get fined for breaking one of their many laws and regulations) and I can't wait to go back to Taiwan!
Please wait for me until I get back in around two weeks time.

Toodles~

Shirokuma Cafe love

New obsession: Shirokuma Cafe (Polar Bear Cafe)
Been loving this anime ever since Megu introduced me to it, staring a polar bear who runs a cafe, a panda who works part-time at a zoo being a panda, and a emperor penguin who has trouble confessing his love to a female penguin Penko.
I'm a sucker for cute animals, so if you're like me, I guarantee you that you'll like this anime
Feel free to check it out here

cat & cat

Started today off with an a.w.e.s.o.m.e parcel, the Ahcahcum Muchacha (あちゃちゅむ←→ムチャチャ) Spring & Summer mook I've been waiting ages for; the first time I saw it was in fashion magazines and online a few months ago, but I never had the time to hunt it down online due to my end of year exams.
But now the wait is over, as I have the mook and the two bags in my hot little hands (literally since today's 36 degrees *sweaty*)
I've never been a real fan of cats or kittens because most of them shed fur and whatnot, but with this whole cat pattern craze going around I began to like these feline animals more.  I really like how the bags from this mook look really realist (apart from having no fur, and being a flat object I am quite certain that I can freak a few people out with this cat-head bag/s)

can't get enought of the grumpy kitty bag :3
A few of my favourite pages from the mook
cats will always love their fish ( I love the fishy socks)
Even Alice in Wonderland designs!!

Must say that this is the best mook I'll ever own (so far).
Since this post has something to do with animals, I made a new friend today with this little birdy that came to visit me :)  Shall give this feathery friend a name once I decide on it, that's if she/he/it decides to visit me again......

Bye guys, stay safe!

The end.

2012 has finally reached the end, must say this this year has been one of the most eventful for me, from travelling to Japan, saying goodbye to my last grandparent (my 奶奶/ grandma), turning 18, graduating from high school, and more exciting events that happened in the 366 days

What a blast.

No idea what 2013 will bring, looks like we'll just have to wait and see, once tomorrow comes~

Waiting

Waiting....for my ATAR results (VCE year 12 results) to come out, and my result from my interview with RMIT regarding fashion design as I was one of the 200+ who were shortlisted from the 1000+ who applied for the fashion course.
I thought that most of the applicants would be around the same age as me, but as we were waiting for our interviews, one girl or should I say lady said she graduated from high school 6 years ago wow and she was applying for the same course as me :O
I was also admitted into the interview room 1 hour after my scheduled time, luckily I didn't have anything too important (other than a dentist appointment which I made just in time), but in the 15-20 minutes I had for the interview, I think I did okay even though my voice was shaky...but all went well especially when the two interviewers asked what I liked doing and I tolod them I like playing my guzheng (Chinese harp?) which made their eyes light up, literally, they also ooo-ed as well

Anyways, this is what I wore to the interview
Shirt: As Known As Pinky
Cardigan: WC
Jeans: Uniqlo
Oxfords: Urban Soul

Should go back to cleaning up this colourful mess that I've created in the past few days, coloured pencils everywhere

Since I have nothing to do for now, but wait, I have started looking for casual/part-time/christmas jobs and I hope someone hires moi with the 10+ resumes I have sent out to random places ٩(๑❛ʚ❛๑)۶

Stay safe everyone! Bye
P.S Another muck up day post will most likely be up by tomorrow

So happy that S.H.E are back with a new album after Selina was released from hospital due to burns from an accident that happened whilst filming in China, 希望Selina姐快快恢复哦~

Shortlisted

Shortlisted for fashion design at RMIT ohemgee what is this?!??!
Thought none of the senior staff would've like my crazy designs, but looks like I was wrong, they like the designs that I drew when I was probably still half asleep when my design exercise/test was 8.30am, which lasted for 2 hours.

GAHHH still can't believe this! Must get my folio ready which is currently just bits and pieces of random fashion sketches and one of my Visual Communication folios that is fashion related, but it happens to be a gumboot/galosh, guess you can always be fashionable in rainy weather right?

A bit hyped up and jumpy now, so if you feel a slight earthquake it's probably me partying away in my room by myself, so please excuse me *.。(๑・∀・๑)*.。

'Til next time, bye!

Pre-Muck Up Days

Hey guys, I'm not officially back from my hiatus, but I have a week's break before my next exam so I thought it would be good to update with a post during this time.

For those of you who don't know, 'Muck Up' day or week is when year 12 students who are in their final year of high school set up pranks and other activities on their week or days of school.  Our school only allowed us to have two days of muck up day so the number of things we could do to our school was limited, however we had a free dress day the school day before our official muck up day started so it was a chance to get a few things started :)

Just a few rules I made up for muck up day/s:
Rule number one: do not start all the activities all at once, start from minuscule things and increase in size and effectiveness.

'Take what you need' passes that were distributed around the school, because I go to a girls school, the above 'passes' are appropriate eg. cramps sports pass, longer skirt/dress pass, cake-face removal.  There was also a 'one direction immunisation' which is thought was pretty funny

Second rule: do not damage school property but make it annoying for others
'Watch your back' on the bathroom mirrors
excuse the runners, it was a primary school dress up day
Make it difficult for those who annoy you, such as those year 9's and 10's who hog the bathroom mirrors everyday after school for a good 30 minutes to reapply their orange cake-faces with more orange-ness, before meeting up with da bois from neighbouring schools...

Rule three:  Make a big impact without doing much
blocking the B block building stairs, mission complete
Trapped those year 9's so it made it impossible for them to get to their lockers at the end of lunch, on both side of the building too!  Just sat and chilled whilst we watched the faces of those middle school kids go  \( ・д・)/ mwahaha.  Also increased the effectiveness of the prank by completing a marathon around the school with around 120 other year 12 girls by screaming and running which freaked a lot of girls out *score*

Rule four:  Suprise teachers, this step may include ambushing the staff room..

free dress day (HP) in the staff room
On two seperate days we ambushed the staff room (by informing the co-ordinator first so we wouldn't get into trouble) and gave out detentions to teachers, made ourselves at home with a nice coffee, and stole quite a lot icypoles from their fridge (❛▿❛)

However, suprising teachers may end up with consequences...like being paid back the following day

Rule five:  Time for payback, or you could always give them a nicely wrapped present :)
Someone wrapped up the vice principle's car (I think) in glad wrap, always good to have some extra protection whilst on the road :)

Rule seven:  Just have fun! (but don't injure anyone)
Our school decided to join up with the guys from Camberwell with a water fight after school with water guns and water balloons, however some girls chickened out at the last minute once they heard that there would be 80 or so guys... so only around 50 of us had to tackle them, impossible.  Being immature badasses they didn't just chuck water balloons but also sausages, tomatoes, apples, and hard-boiled eggs. who said it was a food fight?!?  Oh, and I was hit in the jaw with an unbreakable raw tomato, whilst my friend was hit in the chest with an apple ugh those bastards (ㆆ﹏ㆆ)
So we did end up losing the water fight, what can I say of course they would've won, but it was still really fun as one of the last days of school ʕ•͡ω•ʔ

That's it for now, should be studying for my business management and geography exams which are next week, and then high school would be officially over!! Wait for the next few posts which will be about muck up days and my valedictory dinner, up after my exams that is :)) toodles~

Procrastination + popteen

Why am I blogging when I should be studying for my end of year exams?  Procrastination is the answer.  Thanks to many parties and shopping trips, I am able to procrastinate to the highest level - Procrastinating Queen.  This will just be a random post on outfits, and new gets.

Just half of the practice exams I should be working on....sorry to all those trees who died for me (☉д⊙)

Wore this one to Laura's 18th
dress: Dress Monster
oxford heels: Wittner
earrings: Mimco

shirt: Emoda
jumper: Ingni
Jeans: Uniqlo
oxfords: Urban Soul

Bought the latest popteen with Rola on the cover for their 32nd year anniversary, oh she's beautiful~ and Cutie with Kana Nishino on the cover, her songs are amazing, this issue also came with a sample of the highly complemented 24h Cosme powder which is supposed to last for 24 hours! :))

Below are some of my favourite pages from Popteen and Cutie:
All the popteen models
latest looks from Shibuya 109 brands, I love the One Spo cat dress ^^
Time to find those feline looking clothes, the cats are in the house meow

Also bought this pleated dress from Dotti during their sale for only $29.95 from the original $69.95.  It's a tad big on me since they ran out of size 6 but I altered it a bit and now it fits me quite well (*⁰▿⁰*)

Going back to studying, bye! Oh and this will probably be the last post for now as I'll be going on a hiatus.  I'll be back soon!

I've been playing Ailee's new song for multiple times now, love her voice~

Perseverance

Rest in peace to the year 12 guy who suicided at East Camberwell station on Friday (which was witnessed by some people from my school)

No matter how hard your life is, remember to perservere and tell yourself that all will be good one day.
Think of all your family, friends and loved ones who have supported you throughout your life.
Although you may wonder why your life is so miserable, remember that there will always be ones less fortunate than you in this fortunate world.
In life there's always situations that make us wonder why they happen, I believe it's fate.  Even if you're having a hard time just remember to think optimistically and tell yourself the common English idiom:
Every cloud has a silver lining
You are the one and only one in the world, you are unique, you are special, you are you.
Think everything through no matter how hard they are, just look on the brighter side :))

Dollywink new lashes

Tsubasa-chan just released 3 more lashes to add to her second collection, no. 15-17.  Can't wait for these to be around in stores as I would love to purchase the Pure Girl (No. 15) one as it looks more natural than the no. 4 ones.

Just short post, I'll get back to blogging once sacs are over, toodles!~

Yesterday was the Chinese Valentine's Day, and I hope you all had a lovely time with your loved ones and family :)

Love,
Lissy

ideas please

My 18th birthday will be in less than 3 months time, I still feel like a 16 year old inside but whatever, I get told I look like one too...
So I was wondering if your guys could help me out with any possible party ideas or themes, I'm not the type of person to hold gigantic parties and invite 50+ people, any ideas for small manageable parties?  I would love to have a paintball party but most of my friends aren't over 18, so I was thinking of having one at a restaurant, but iunno

all ideas are appreciated, thank you :3

Oriental Spoon

Had a birthday dinner last week at Oriental Spoon in the city, never been there myself but I've heard a few good reviews on it. Oriental Spoon is a Korean and Japanese restaurant situated really close to the State Library, when we arrived the restaurant was nearly full (but we booked before hand so we were safe) quite a lot people even had to wait outside; definitely signifies a great restaurant.

The 12 of us ordered food a range of food, from dumplings to bulgogi and the food was delicious! And for some of you who think Korean cuisine only consists of spicy things, the beef we had was actually sweet!
After eating delicious food, we headed down to the State library to give Kelly her present; which she was amazed with. Some of us stayed to watch the fireworks at the Moomba festival, but I trained home with a few friends.

Not to forget my hilarious train ride to the city. On my carriage there was a lady with a dog pram, thought these only exists in Asia but I was wrong.

see if you can spot the two dogs

When the lady got off the train, an old man got on the train with the happiest smile I've ever seen on an old man, and told the ones around him 'I guess she's taking the fur kids for a walk', haha this made everyone in the carriage laugh.

I'll try to update more often, but I'm in my last year of high school so sometimes I have heavy work loads, so thanks for understanding~

Boom shakalaka everyone haha
